German Shepard Dog (GSD)
The GSD is one of the most recognized and popular of all breeds, they are exceptionally loyal, versatile and renowned for their intelligence. They make excellent family pets and are intelligent enough to decipher the difference between an adult and a kid. They have abundant tolerance for the playfulness of children.
Even though we won’t find a lot of this breed in these parts, Labrador Retrievers are one of the best with children. They are calm, gentle, intelligent and easily trainable. They are cheerful and have an enthusiastic attitude towards life, Labs have a steady temperament and are generally well mannered.
Often referred to as gentle giants, this breed makes an excellent companion for kids. Even though they look imposing, they are easy going and mild mannered. They are non-aggressive and form strong bonds with children.
Pugs are ideal for families with children as they are generally patient and make great playmates. The pug is keen, fun-loving with a happy go-lucky attitude. They are very tolerate and protective of children.
The Bull Mastiff is a devoted, alert guard dog with a good natured temperament. Even though they are gentle and patient with kids, it is important to supervise and train children to respect and treat the dog well. They are very protective and intensely loyal companions.
